Well mostly...The weather is finally warming up and the rain/snow seems to be over with for now. I was starting to think that we'd never bring the summer wear out for the kids. Yesterday I walked down to the school to pick up the Ladies, we headed downtown to check the mail for Daddy and they wanted to go for a few visits. We stopped at Nutter's and saw Nana Deb and then to the Wilkommen centre to say hi to Aunty. I was so nice to be out and about with out the van.
Today I decided to surprise the girls. Ainsley and I packed up a picnic lunch and we headed out to the park next to city hall from the school. They enjoyed sitting at the picnic table munching their lunches. We had to cut the lunch short for a potty break. We ran over to the library. Every one got new book, even found some for myself (Yay).
The walk home was a little hairy at times. Ainsley got spooked by a bug and then again by the dandylion she picked. (That girl does not like things that grow from the ground). The girls were getting tired and it was warming up quite a bit. Enough whining to make me grit my teeth but we survived. Now we have the AC blowing, and are finshing off our lunch while watching some Lunar Jim.
The not so great part was everyone seems to have a mild tummy bug. Poor Jeff was off for two days because he was ill, (when he gets sick he goes all out) and one day for my turn. The kids seem to be handling it okay. Dylan has had a few mishaps at school but is not unwell enough to stay home.
Now I'm going to stretch out and cool off.
